I am Maria and I am a visual artist.

I finished my B.A. studies in media science and applied media in 2021. My academic interest revolves around feminist media and gender studies; topics that are dear to my heart. I work as a freelance artist since 2018 for clients like Medienwerk and the WWF.
I am based in Hamburg and looking for a new job to enhace my skills and do something with an impact.

I explored handpoke tattoos a few years ago when I got tattooed for the first time. I was fascinated of the process and wanted to try it myself. I ordered some ink, needles and accessoires from a tattoo online store and started on myself - I was instantly hooked. Since then I tattooed a lot of friends and family. Sustainability and vegan products are natural for me.

As a film photographer I focus on selfpotraiture and nature, often combined. I also take photos of people and everything else that carries something that fascinates me.

Besides that I do game art, specialized in pixel art, but also narration design and environmental storytelling.

My passion is creating worlds and spaces that are authentic and tell a story. Physical and virtual.
